Wednesday

Used to be I couldn't ever imagine not posting here daily unless I was on vacation or something. This place is kinda like my sanity...a shrink without having to deal with a shrink...whatever.
These days I have nothing. I go nowhere, do nothing. I'm so busy doing nothing right now it's insane. In fact, it's so crazy it's cut into my relaxation schedule..

The movers have come and gone. Packers on Wed, Thursday, Movers on Thurs, Friday. It was pretty quick and painless for the most part and so far, one of the smoothest packouts we've ever had.

I'm currently living in the house with the boys on 2 camp chairs and 2 air mattresses. We're eating quick easy things that I can make in the one skillet I kept behind. Or takeout. My dog and cat are drinking out of the saucepan I kept behind so it's skillet food only...or sandwiches..or things I can make in the microwave....

Just before the packers came I bought WiiFit because I wanted something to do for the 2.5 weeks I'd be living here bare bones. I'd say it's kicking my ass, but that's being too kind really. The thing about Wii Fit is, it makes you think you're on top of the world when you've mastered a particular skill and says "Congratulations! You've unlocked a new..." (insert new torture session here) I recently unlocked the Jacknife torture. Oh it looked easy...and I thought..."HA! That' looks easy...I can bank all kinds of time doing that one!" and so I repeated it over and over until I unlocked the longer time version and the trainer challenge version. Allow me to let you in on a little secret peeps...unless you want to feel like you laid flat on your back and allowed Mr. T to jump on your abs for a day, DON'T DO IT!!!!

On a completely separate note, Yesterday (I think it was yesterday, might have been the day before) I went blind in one eye for several hours. This always preceeds a massive migraine. I had to stop the car a couple of blocks from home and let Thing 2 drive home. Believe you me, that is serious stuff if I let him drive..it's like taking your life in your hands riding with that kid. I came in and popped some excedrine migraine, and crisis was averted, for the time being. I still have a headache...in fact I've had one almost non stop for 2 weeks, but I just keep popping the excedrines. All my migraine meds got packed...I might have my Dr. put in an emergency script for me but honestly, I dont' hold much hope of this headache going away till I'm resettled in CA.

The Cat in the Hat was home for all of 3 days and was in immense pain from a strained back the entire time. We did manage to make it out to dinner twice, and those will probably be the last good meals I'll have in some time. On our last dinner out, our wait was an hour long so we decided to grab some sangria's at the bar. I love sangria! freakin love it! I can put it away too...usually without too much effect...but this time? I was tipsy after the first one but ordered the second anyway....we had lively conversation during the second after which our table became available and I ordered a third with dinner. The restraunt was 10 mins away from home and I slept the entire way home! I have no recollection of how I got from car to house, but I was out cold from 7:30-8ish till bedtime at midnight after which I woke up, talked for a few minutes and was out for the rest of the night. I don't know what the heck they put in it, but I've NEVER had a drink affect me like that before...I think I'll stick to mojitos for awhile....

That's pretty much all I got peeps...NOTHING going on here...I'm pretty much just playin the waiting game. Tomorrow I take my car to the dealership for an in depth once over. You know my love of all things mechanics so I'm sure I'll come back with lots of fun stories from that. The lady on the phone told me they have free wi-fi in their waiting room but to bring a book just in case. That did not sound promising, but I did keep my first and second Twilight books behind to re-read so I'll be taking that with me. I anticipate being there all damn day. sigh.....

I'm currently reading The Alchemist, and it's good I guess but it's not grabbing me and pinning me down or anything...I have no problem putting it down to comtemplate my navel....

I started watching Season One of True Blood, but so far....I'm just not feeling it. I prefer the innocence of the Twilight series.....True Blood is like a porno with really dry drab characters. Of course now I've watched the first 4 episodes and feel like I'm leaving a book unread if I don't finish, and I HATE leaving a book unread...I have this burning need to know how things end so I'll probably finish it...but seriously.....I'm just not feeling it. I guess I'm just not a porno kinda girl..what can I say, I like a little SOMETHING left to the imagination and True Blood just doesnt' give that...

ok, that's really all I got. Maybe I'll beat someone up at the mechanics tomorrow and have something to write about? I doubt it...I don't have anything left in me to give...

Wii Fit ey? I'm afraid if I put the $'s into it, it would end up in the same place as my DDR mats (behind the couch in the living room.)

I LOVE it EmBee!! I use it every day...and then play games in the afternoon or eve's with the kids..LOTS of options with it...I've got my eye on one of the other excercise programs for it too, as soon as I get settled. I dont' think I haven enough room in my car for even ONE more thing the size of CD LOL...I'm packed to the gills! I'll say this though..I get a GOOD workout with it. and in one and a half weeks, I lost 5lbs...

Let me know what you think of it Lori...and don't watch with kids in the room...seriously...YIKES! I almost watched it with T but got tired of waiting for him to have time, and wow..that would have been awkward! I'm just not feelin' it..

I had sangria for the first time a couple of months ago. Apparently I had the virgin version because I didn't so much as get a buzz on it, and I had a couple of them, and believe me, I'm a cheap and easy drunk!

I loved True Blood because at least there was some action going on. We don't have HBO, but we're thinking of subscribing just so we can watch the second season! Because, allow me to repeat, at least something happened with *vampires*!

;)

I had fun playing Wii... even though I look like a clod doing it. I have never seen WiiFit, but I hear it's fun.
